3.5, 2, 8

So what do the numbers mean? Thats 3.5 years (Quinlan), 2 years (Sebastian), 8 weeks (Eleanor). A visit to the clinic saw all three get weighed and measured. Quinlan also had his 3.5 year check, mostly focusing on his vision, Eleanor also had a general check.

So, seeing as this is the flavour of the day, I thought I'd put some stats on the blog, just for general interest (I like stats, to see how they are growing and how tall/short/heavy/light they might be when they are older).

Quinlan -
     Height: 104.5cm - 97th percentile (slightly above)
     Weight: 16kg - 75th percentile

Sebastian -
     Height: 89cm - 75th percentile
     Weight: 14.5kg - (bit under) 90th percentile

Eleanor -
     Length: 53cm - 10th percentile
     Weight: 4.79kg - 50th percentile

They have all grown so much in their short lives! Hard to believe that at birth Quinlan was 3.08kg and 50cm, Sebastian 3.315kg and 50cm, and Eleanor 2.81kg and 46cm.

It's a little deceptive having the boys weighed after they both were hit with a virus and then gastro within a week of each other. Needless to say, over the last 2 weeks they haven't eaten a huge amount (compared to what they usually eat). Both of them lost a good 1-2kg, which Quinlan didn't have to lose, but Sebastian had more than enough covering!

Anyway, no photo's for today! Will put some up next time. Lot's of photo opportunity coming up in the next few weeks while Larry's parents are visiting!

Til next time..........

Sebastian turns 2!

On Saturday (the 11th of Feb) we were able to celebrate Bubba's 2nd birthday! We are truly blessed to have our cheeky monkey in our lives and look forward to watching him grow and learn in the years to come.

Here are a few photo's we took on the day (we had a party/BBQ with family and a few friends at a park in Launceston).

Opening presents

He was a bit gobsmacked with this one!

Paper is for ripping, right?

Absolutely loves his (noisy) tractor and trailer (as does Q)!

The cake!

Party guests!

Singing 'Happy Birthday'
(He didn't get to blow out the candles, the wind did that for him)

Nom Nom.....

And finally, a photo of our fast growing little miss in her Sunday finery!

Eleanor's Baptism

On Sunday the 29th of December we were able to present Eleanor for baptism. Following are some of the photo's. You will have to excused the hot and bothered look. It was hot (for us in Launceston) and humid. Eleanor was in and out of her dress on numerous occasions as it was far to hot to leave her in it all day (besides one can not fit small baby and all that dress into the capsule and safely buckle her in)!

We celebrated the day with a coffee morning at Church and then had (extended) family at Mum and Dad's after Church.

We then had a few family photo's late in the day (waiting for the weather to cool off). Kids and photo's at a park with a fun play ground in sight was rather a challenge, but they managed pretty well!

Crashed on the couch after Church!

Boring mum, get the camera out of my face!

This is what we got when we asked the boys to smile!
They kept picking grass and it was hard work getting
Sebastian to keep his fingers out of his mouth!

Our munchkins!

Opa and Oma
(Dad held Eleanor in Church)

We do not sleep our baby upside down, I'm just not sure how to rotate the photo!
This is how one sleeps in the bassinet (under a lounge room window)
when it's hot (usually she's swaddled)!

So ends the photo's! There are more, but I don't want to bore you with all the dodgy ones!
